MOCathalon

It's time for MOCathalon, and a lot of the entries are vigs or bignettes. Interestingly, Lincoln's assassination has already shown up in two different categories. In the Ars Historica category (calling for a historical scene) Alex Mack made Lincoln's Assasination, and in the Ides of March category (calling for a conspiracy), Christopher Baldacci made Half Mast, a multi-tiered bignette showing the assassinations of US Presidents Kennedy, McKinley and Lincoln.

Devil's Snare

There just aren't enough Harry Potter builds out there, which is kind of surprising given the official theme and the popularity of the source material. Carson Hart made Devil's Snare from book one. It's so cool that he built his own Fluffy rather than simply buying the official version.
