Saving Sergeant Jackson

Kevin (Crimson Wolf) has constructed this fantastic vignette depicting an insurgent hideout where Sergeant Anglo Jackson is supposed to be hidden. The details are great, including the timed I.E.D. and the fully-loaded insurgent.

(On another note, I'm one of the new co-blogger's that Bruce hired. Great to be part of the team!)

Driven into a Corner

crises_crs just unveiled this entry into the Vignette category of the Classic Castle Battles contest. Included are a number of fun techniques, from the Dwarf Beard, to the tiles and cheese slopes. And look at the new Space Police helmet!

LEGO torture

The creations are a little old, but I just saw this story on Wired. Legofesto made a series of scenes in protest of the abuse of prisoners at Abu Ghraib.

Happy anniversary, Chris and Erin

I've previously blogged these as Chris brought them to a couple of fests (even winning best vig at BrickFest 09), but Chris has finally posted his own photos in celebration of his and his wife's first anniversary. Anyway, Chris made a series of five wedding cake topper vigs, each showing a significant step in their relationship. Congratulations, guys!
