Monday morning roundup

Following in Jake's footsteps, here's a roundup of recent vigs:

Steve Bishop's spooky Salem's Lot

Sugegasa's Tsumiki (Hmm, could this be an entry in the Japanese AFOLs' shiritori game?)

Jagoop's vig-sized Siege Engine.

Tzidik's Order 66.

Great action

This hardly qualifies as a vignette or even a bignette, but vig builders should take note of the great ways that Mark Stafford captures the action in his Burrower Beneath.

Arrrrrrrrrr!

This is a few days late for International Talk Like a Pirate Day, but Eric Druon has posted an outstanding seafaring bignette: Ship.

Boo! It's a contest!

Nelson Yrizarry presents A Change of Seasons, and uses the occasion toe announce the second annual Halloween Vignette Contest. Follow that link for details. I look forward to seeing some great spooky vigs from VB readers.

Star Wars vigopalooza

There have been several great Star Wars vigs recently, such as K-hatch's Mustafar.

Tzidik's Yavin control room and his Invasion of Naboo.

And Nermal's Death Star.

Long time no blog

Yes, I know, I've been absent from my blog for a while. Now I'm back, though, and hopefully will be much better about updates. For today, let's start with three great vigs. Xueren presents Spidey vs Dr. Octopus.

Stewtrooper06 presents a scene from the Two Towers in .

Linwik brings us a construction scene with Structuring of a footpath.

Steve Irwin

I was going to make something like this, but at least three builders have already done so. As K-hatch put it, "Crikey, he will be missed." Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, is memorialized in Melody Brown's The croc hunter, k-hatch's croc-hunter, and Sir Kohran's Crocodile Hunter.
