Doomed to repeat history
Over on Brick Horizon they are holding the Historic Vig Contest 2 - build a vig of a historic event from your home country. Mcasey07 took on the recent past with the London Underground bombing from 2005.

Setting aside the non-ideal photography, I really like the way he put a facade of a subway train at the back of the tunnel. Also very nice that the focus of the vig is not on the violence of the action, but rather on the cooperation of people coming together in the aftermath.

Spell practice
From Okayaraman:
Ron: "Look, mates, I finally got the shrinking spell down!"
Hermione: "Good job, Ron! Now please change us back."
Ron: "Uh... How do I do that?"
Harry: "Oh boy..."

And then there were ...
It looks like Atin has started a series of vignettes based on the Agatha Christie novel And Then There Were None. The first victim is Anthony Marston. "Ten little Soldier boys went out to dine;
One choked his little self and then there were nine."

Eurobricks Collectable LEGO Minifigures Series 2 Building Contest
Over on Eurobricks they are holding a contest to highlight the Series 2 Collectible Minifigs. In Category A, participants were challenged to build an 8x8 vig to display one of the newest figs. In Category B, people built 16x16 vigs to show the interaction between figs from Series 1 and Series 2. Key to this contest is that the Series 2 fig was not supposed to be actually included in the MOC, so the viewers were to imagine its inclusion. You still have a few days to build and submit an entry, so get busy this weekend. For instance:

Now and forever
From Rick-ricks:
Cedric reached out his blood-stained hand towards the image of his deceased wife.
“It’s time to go now,” Mary whispered.
“My wife.”
“Now and forever in heaven my love.”

Will you ...?
Perhaps congratulations are in order for bren92787, at least if this proposal vignette is autobiographical.
