Now bring us some viggy pudding
More holiday viggy fun. Nelson Yrizarry wishes us a Mele Kalikimaka.
Steve Bishop finishes up his Christmas Carol series with a Christmas Card.
Brick0937 gives an interpretation of a familiar scene with Xmas.
And finally, Gerard Joosten continues his Advent Calendar series. On Day 16 he made snow angels. In Day 21 a sore afraid shepherd hear's the angel's tidings of great joy.

'Tis the Season for Dark Humor
O. Heine gives a darker take on holiday themes with such vigs as Oh no ... Sorry, Rudolf, Here We Go Again and GOTCHA.

We wish you a merry vig-mas
More holiday-themed vignette goodness.
Steve Bishop presents his take on Marley's visit in Christmas Carol.
Gerard Joosten continues his advent calendar with Day 6.
Gert Hansen has a fig plowing through the snow to get the mail. Perhaps he's getting a Christmas card?

Death in the Library
Mark Stafford presents a great VLC, Death in the Library.
While this is (at least apparently) accidental, this reminds me of a great series of Clue vignettes that Mitch Hiveley posted back in the days before VignetteBricks, including "Mrs. Peacock in the library with a candlestick" and "Mr. Green in the conservatory with a wrench."

Out of the frying pan . . .
Shane Larson presents the climactic scene from Return of the King in Crack of Doom.
By the way, here is my own VLC take on the same scene.

A movie star, and the rest!
Hmm, I've been waiting for Janey to post on these, but she's been too busy spewing soccer balls around her house to do so, so oh well. A while ago she took some of her Classic TV Show creations and made a series of vigs that she presented at BrickFest, including Gilligan's Island and the Brady Bunch

On the first day of Christmas, ElephantKnight gave to me . . .
. . . a vig with a kid sitting on Santa's knee.
ElephantKnight is creating a vignette advent calendar. Each day up until Christmas he intends to create a new Christmas-themed vig. In his Day 1, a child tells Santa what he wants for Christmas.

I'm dreaming of a viggy Christmas
Christmas is fast approaching, when children will be snuggled all warm in their beds, with visions of new LEGO gifts in their heads. It's also time to start highlighting holiday-themed vignettes.
Marley's Ghost comes to warn Scrooge in bumblejeep44's A Christmas Carol.
Jhasset created this Santa as a decoration.
And, rounding out today's offerings, k-hatch asks if you've been Naughty or Nice?

Henry and the Pope
Around the last turn of the milleum, the rulers of Germany were locked in a power struggle with Rome. In 1075, Pope Gregory VII demanded that King Henry IV renounce his power over the German church and threatened excommunication to those who supported Hnery. In 1077, as illustrated here by Johannes Koehler, Henry traveled to Italy to do penance and receive absolution from Pope Gregory. Conflicts continued, though, eventually leading to war.
Arrrrrrr! Welcome to Port Royal
Okay, this one is a bit large even for a VLC, but it's so wonderfully reallized that I have to post it here (and, hey, it's my blog, so I can break my own rules). Barbara Werth has created a memorable scene from Pirates Of The Caribbean - The Curse Of The Black Pearl - Jack Sparrow's Arrival.
