Unhappy statuary

There are those Brickshelf galleries that are always worth checking. One such is Michael Jasper's Sundries page. He recently posted "Inglorious Double Feature," which also prompts me to post his "Man and his Dog."

Nobody told me there'd be days like these

Strange days indeed! This is way bigger than I usually blog here, but RebelRock's recent creation, Mayhem, is just too cool to pass by.

Flameout

Very timely, since I believe the torch is running through San Francisco today. Erik Amzallag asks if Joe will free Tibet in Joe Vig and the Olympic Flame.

DnD

I've seen Dungeons and Dragons in the news a couple of times recently. About a month ago, creator E. Gary Gygax passed away. Then a few days ago I saw a story that they're trying to create an online version. Anyway, DnD has certainly inspired a lot of MOCs, such as the series The Adventures of Sir Zomberth by Lord Gianguglielmo Pappadhum. He includes scenes like Don't go underground alone, Don't be silly, who'd put a trap here? and Behold!.

Spy vs Yang

Noddy has a pretty cool take on the constant battle of Yin-Yang.

Cool, you say. You haven't seen the half of it. Now look at it from a birds-eye view:

Vig your friends

These came out a couple of months ago when I was swamped and not updating regularly. Keith Goldman made a series called Peace and Boilerplate, celebrating the legend of Ley Ward with vigs like "Peace and Finding the Right Spot" and "Peace and the Road to Ruin." Inspired by Keith's work, Jon Palmer made a series on the Travels of Aaron Sneary, with vigs like "Painting a Door" and "Atop the Rock, Atop the World."

Index caught up

In case anyone uses the featured MOC indexes over on the right-hand side, they are caught up as of this post. I've also checked and fixed the community sites, blogroll, etc. Anyone new to the community should look through those for a lot of different resources. Now it's on to indexing MicroBricks.
