Tell me a story
Continuing with entries for the Classic-Castle Story Telling Contest, Quickblade has The Rescue. Be sure to follow the whole story through in order to get the punchline at the end.

Tom Snellin has Frm Invitation to Date.

Finally, for now, Crises adds a nice twist with Girl, Knight and Dragon by attaching the vigs with hinges so they can fold together to make the 16x16 bignette.

Halo
Over on the Brickarms Forums there is a Halo Vignette Contest. Build a scene based on the Halo video games. Nannan Z sets the bar very high with his Final Run.

Classic-Castle contest
Classic-Castle is hosting a vignette story telling contest. The rules are here. Build four 8x8 vigs that will fit together to make a 16x16 square. Together they should tell a castle-themed story. Entries will go here. For example, Tom Snellen presents If only he knew.

Wall vigs
Yesterday I posted what I speculated might be the first wall vig. A commenter noted that Paul Donis has previously made Fridge Magnets. This is such a cool idea. When I last was at a LEGO store, they had magnets on clearance, so maybe I'll have to run out and get a few packs for this purpose.

Steve loves a parade
To celebrate his 2500th Classic Castle posting, Steve Bishop made a series of four vigs that go together to make a parade.

It's been busy
I've been really swamped lately so haven't been able to put up regular posts. I've got a backlog of great MOCs to highlight, but for the moment let's check out Liwnik's Death of Prince Felmet and Heiland's Legorado.

Who?
Mark Stafford has a couple of Dr. Who scenes featuring the 9th and 10th Doctors. I actually haven't watched any of the recent incarnation of the series, but I used to watch a lot of reruns of the 3rd, 4th and 5th Doctors when I was a teenager. So maybe my recollection is wrong, but wasn't there a limit of 10 incarnations for a Time Lord? If so, what happens when this one goes?

BTW, here is my own Dr. Who vig built a couple of years ago. I was pretty happy with my Dalek design, but I have to admit that my Tardis is rubbish.

With no basis in ABS
I always love Michael Jasper's Baseless Vigs, such as his Castles Made of Sand, and the hilarious Paint it Black (best possible use of the Two-Face torso, ever!).

More fun with Noddy's bikes
Noddy has previously created great scenes to show off his awesome motorcycle MOCs, and these new ones are no exceptions: Holiday time, Shell Gas and Fueling up.

Heroic
Alex Eylar has continued his series of Abilities vignettes. My favorite has got to be Telekinesis; the illusion of the floating boxes is superb.
